Bank One, Yahoo! Expand, Extend Alliance
SUNNYVALE, Calif. and WILMINGTON, Del. - August 12, 2003 - Bank One [NYSE: ONE] and Yahoo!*, a leading global Internet company, today announced an expansion and extension of their long-term alliance. The expanded relationship will offer additional promotional opportunities for both companies, including the marketing of the Bank One brand and its products and services on the Yahoo! network.
Bank One will also continue to issue the Yahoo! Titanium Visa* card, a co-branded credit card that enables cardmembers to earn rewards with every purchase.
Yahoo! Titanium Visa cardmember benefits currently include:
- One point for every dollar spent on the Yahoo! Visa card online and off.
- Easy online access to http://points.yahoo.com to obtain information about additional Yahoo! point earning opportunities and to redeem rewards. Redemption options include CDs, DVDs, video games and electronics equipment, as well as gift certificates for leading online and offline retail stores.
- Ability to donate points to featured charities throughout the year.
- No annual fee.
- 100 percent protection against unauthorized online and offline purchases.
Building on the success of the Yahoo! credit card program, Bank One will also market its co-branded credit cards featuring some of America's leading brands, as well as consumer and small business banking products on the Yahoo! network.
