JPMorgan Private Bank opens new office in Greenwich

New York, NY, July 8, 2002–– JPMorgan Private Bank today announced the opening of its new office in Greenwich, Connecticut. The office, located in the heart of downtown Greenwich at 191 Mason Street, will serve private banking clients based in Connecticut.

The Greenwich office employs approximately 20 professionals, who together provide integrated wealth management services for high net worth individuals in a highly customized way to help clients with the many complexities they face. Historically, the firm has served the region through its New York offices, but over time, Greenwich's growth as one of the largest U.S. wealth markets has made it one of the core of the firm's private banking business in the Northeastern United States.

"We've assembled some of the most talented private banking professionals under one roof in Greenwich to serve the diverse needs of our clients in the region," says Mary Rohman Mattson, managing director and head of the private bank's New England region. "Greenwich is a leader among American cities for its powerful mix of successful entrepreneurs, investors and corporate executives. We are thrilled to be joining such a vibrant community and supporting its dynamic future."

Ms. Mattson has been with JP Morgan for over ten years and has been managing the New England region of the Private Bank since 1998. She is a lifelong Connecticut resident and serves on the board of the Bruce Museum and on the Board of Advisors of the Breast Cancer Alliance of Greenwich. She also manages a group of professionals for the New England Region based in the Boston and New York offices.

The Greenwich office will be led by George Tsandikos, who has been with JP Morgan Private Bank since 1989. Prior to joining the firm, George was engaged in the private practice of law in Boston, Massachusetts specializing in trust and estate law. Both Ms. Mattson and Mr. Tsandikos will be joined by senior team members: Peter Gambee, Aimee Bickel Smith, Karen Ikeda, Robert Petersen, Margaret Bigelow and Susan Adamsen.
