Sprint, Chase Offer Rewards for "Anytime, Anywhere" Purchases
WILMINGTON, Del. - Dec. 8, 2004 - Money talks and now Sprint customers will be able to earn rewards when purchasing a mobile phone, picking up their dry cleaning or even paying their phone bill. Today, Sprint [NYSE: FON] and Chase [NYSE: JPM] announced the launch of the Sprint Rewards Visa* Card, which offers rewards on all purchases of Sprint accessories and services, as well as everyday card purchases.
Sprint Rewards Visa cardmembers earn two points for every dollar spent on Sprint purchases at Sprint retail locations, Sprint phone bills and online purchases at Sprint.com and one point for every dollar spent on all other card purchases. Every time cardmembers accumulate 2,500 points, they can redeem them for a $25 personal check, a $25 Sprint Gift Check, which can be used toward Sprint products and services or a $25 Gift Certificate from select merchants, including gas stations, restaurants and other leading retailers.
